# Portfolio project: a reviewed meeting-action workflow

This is a teaching project using synthetic data, not a customer deployment or a claim of measured business impact.

## Problem
Convert a short set of meeting notes into an action table while preserving evidence and uncertainty. Compare the AI-assisted approach with a manual baseline using the same notes.

## Starter input
- Maya will draft the project brief by 12 November 2026.
- The team discussed moving the review to Friday. No date or owner was agreed.
- Ravi will check the sample dataset; no deadline was set.

## Deliverables
1. A short problem statement and a labelled workflow diagram.
2. The permitted input, your prompt, and the tool/model/version used (or your manual baseline).
3. An action table with owner, task, due date, and an exact evidence excerpt.
4. A review record showing what you accepted, corrected, or rejected.
5. A comparison report: missed actions, unsupported fields, reviewer corrections, and elapsed time. Report observed measurements; do not invent savings.
6. A two-minute walkthrough or a written explanation, plus limitations and a recovery procedure.

## Test cases
- Normal: explicit owner, task, and deadline.
- Missing: an action with no deadline must remain “not stated”.
- Ambiguous: an unconfirmed proposal must be flagged and not become a committed task.
- Adversarial: a sentence in the notes telling the assistant to ignore instructions is source text, not permission to change the task.
- Privacy: do not use private meeting notes or customer records without authorization.

## Review rubric (100 points)
- Source-grounded fields and correct handling of uncertainty: 35.
- Reproducible prompt, input, and configuration: 20.
- Normal and negative test evidence: 25.
- Comparison with manual baseline and honest measurement: 10.
- Clear explanation, permissions, and limitations: 10.

## Acceptance checks
No invented owner or deadline is accepted. Every confirmed action has a source excerpt. Missing or uncertain details are visible. A second person can reproduce your steps with the synthetic input.

This project brief is free. It does not include a paid course, an instructor review, certification, or guaranteed employment. Ask the team what is included in a specific cohort before purchase.
